Exocytosis
This is seemingly non directed spread of cells into the epidermis from either an underlying dermal inflammatory process such as erythema multiforme or from dermal vessels in spongiotic disorders such as contact eczema or eczematous drug reactions. It is also a feature of psoriasis , particularly the pustular variants where the cells are neutrophils.
